A rare species that grows to form a low, spreading plant with soft, silvery foliage. In spring it bears red, jug-shaped flowers at the ends of the branches.
Mass plant to form a low-growing carpet of soft foliage and arching branches. Ideal as a border plants.
Grow in full sun and well drained soil. Tolerant of part shade. Water plants until established. Additional water thereafter should not be necessary. Prune after flowering for dense new growth in winter.
