FEATURES: An Australian native shrub with spectacular flowers and very ornamental foliage. A rounded, spreading, evergreen shrub or small tree with unusual, long, deeply toothed, silvery green leaves. For most of the year, but peaking in Spring and Summer, large, cylindrical, creamy-yellow flower spikes are produced which are both spectacular and long lasting.
CONDITIONS: Performs best in an open, sunny position with well-drained soil. Tolerates alkaline soils, dry conditions, coastal sites, and occasional light frost once established.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Avoid humid or poorly drained sites. Prune after flowering if required.
