Evergreen Australian native shrub grown for showy
Autumn flowers.
FEATURES: Upright bush of fine bright green foliage that shows off the flame-orange brush-shaped flowers well.
Flowers form around the stems. Autumn flowers are uncommon so are particularly welcome to brighten up the garden.
CONDITIONS: Suited to free draining, sandy soils or potting media in full sun. Tolerant of wet sites.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Prune after flowering to encourage a bushier shrub and more blooms. Tip prune young foliage regularly to shape. Use a low nutrient mulch to reduce weeds.
