FEATURES: A large sized hardy shrub with handsome elongated narrow green leaves and clusters of magnificent orange-red spike-like flowers during Winter and Spring. Reaches approx. 2.5-4m tall and
2-3m wide.
CONDITIONS: Prefers a well-drained soil in a sunny position. Tolerant of dry periods, wind, poor soils and moderate frost once established.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Apply a layer of mulch around the base when planting to reduce weed competition and retain soil moisture. Avoid waterlogged conditions.
