FEATURES: Hardy and versatile evergreen, large shrub with blue-green linear leaves. Masses of striking deep-pink, sometimes red, elongated spike-like flowers are produced from Winter to Spring.
CONDITIONS: Prefers a well-drained soil in a sunny position. Tolerant of dry periods, wind and moderate frost once established.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Apply a layer of mulch around the base when planting to reduce weed competition and retain soil moisture. Avoid waterlogged conditions. Can be lightly pruned.
