Hypocalymma angustifolium
FEATURES: Small Australian native shrub with a semi weeping habit. Produces white flowers in the leaf axels that change to a peachy pink colour and then to red as they age. Flowers are produced along the entire stems and open from the lower parts of the stem first.
CONDITIONS: Suited to full sun or part shade positions in most soil types as long as drainage is adequate. Frost and drought hardy once established.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Tip prune young plants regularly to develop a neat habit. Mulch around the base of the plant to suppress weeds and retain moisture in the drier months.
