Melaleuca fulgens ‘Apricot’
FEATURES: Commonly known as the apricot-flowered honey myrtle, is a stunning, medium-sized shrub, in the Myrtaceae family. This variety is prized for its eye-catching apricot-coloured, bottlebrush-like flower spikes that bloom profusely in spring and early summer, attracting birds, bees, and other pollinators. It features fine, narrow, aromatic, mid-green foliage and typically grows to around 1.5 meters in height.

CONDITIONS: thriving in well-drained soils and sunny locations. Drought-tolerant and low-maintenance, resilient plant, well worth including in mixed garden beds and waterwise gardens.

FOR BEST RESULTS: May be trimmed after flowering to promote bushy growth and flower production. Mulch the area well, keeping it away from the trunk, to help retain soil moisture and suppress weeds.
